Hello! My name is Mona Brown

Mona Brown has a unique blend of expertise that spans 20+ years as a serial entrepreneur coupled with over 25 years of corporate consultative sales and business development experience in several industries, including public administration, insurance, healthcare, wholesale and retail trade, interior design, and education.

Having owned and operated five small businesses, successively – she truly understands the entrepreneurial journey. She is very passionate about commerce revitalization, particularly in emerging urban communities where economic development initiatives can be leveraged to equip business owners with resources and tools to scale their businesses. In fact, this passion fueled her decision a few years ago to become a certified Business Broker where she is instrumental in educating clients on business growth strategies through Mergers & Acquisitions, and other methods. She also partners with clients to build their commercial real estate asset portfolios. Further, she has partnered with a private equity group as an apprentice to master the strategy of flipping businesses.

Mona has an MBA in Marketing – Professional Studies & Entrepreneurship and a BS in Organizational Development. She is the author of “Strategy = Strength.”

Mona has served as guest on Sirius XM Radio – Channel 141 – The Small Business Report. In addition, she has served as expert panelist for SBA’s Emerging Leaders Initiative, Powerteam International, The Edge Connection Women’s Business Center – InnovateHer Business Pitch Competition and the WEOP Women’s Business Forum. She is a licensed Commercial Realtor and member of Toastmasters International and AMAC – Airport Minority dvisory Council, as well as a Volunteer Mentor and Workshop Chair with SCORE Atlanta SCORE DC.
